What is reflexology?
Reflexology is a sophisticated complementary therapy rooted in the principle that specific reflex points on the feet, and hands correspond systematically to organs, glands, and body systems throughout the entire organism. By applying targeted pressure techniques to these mapped reflexes, practitioners aim to promote relaxation, support the body’s innate healing mechanisms, and facilitate improved circulation and autonomic nervous system balance..

Reflexology vs. Massage Therapy: What’s the Difference?
Reflexology works with precise anatomical maps that have been refined over centuries of clinical observation and practice. The therapy recognizes that the body is interconnected through neurological, vascular, and energetic pathways, and that stimulation of reflex zones can produce beneficial responses in corresponding distant body structures.
Whereas Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissue and the treatment occurs across the full body.
About Your Treatment
A reflexology treatment lasts 40 to 60 minutes and includes an assessment. Treatments are customized to suit each client’s specific needs. Traditionally, each treatment is concentrated on one area of focus – either your feet or hands but not multiple areas.
Is Reflexology Right for You?
Reflexology is a natural, healing therapy suitable for most people. However, please feel out the Medical History and Consent forms below to advise us of any pre-existing health conditions or contraindications before you book a treatment to determine if reflexology is right for you.
